Imitating Christ Jesus, the Saviour of the world!

Listen! We have hope for tomorrow. In Christ alone, our hope is found..(As Michael W. Smith says in His song “in Christ alone”). Jesus is our hope(cf. Colossians 1:27, ESV). Once He’s alive, our hope in Him will never be cut off because the expectations of the righteous man will never be cut off(cf. Proverbs 23:18, ESV). Why? Because the one in whom we put our trust and hope as Christians never fails(cf.Joshua 21:45, 1 Corinthians 1:9, ESV) as He has said in His word, which are His words. Our God is faithful, and He will bring each and everyone to an expected end as He wills(cf. Jeremiah 29:11). We don’t know what it looks like-the end- but we know the plans are to and for our good. To prosper us. He is the Lord, and His name will be glorified in our lives.

It is because of this faithfulness that we can fully trust in God. More importantly, this faithfulness of God through His love is what we can experience if only we yield to Him. Life is full of ups and downs, but if only we yielded to the Lord, would we see the goodness of God in our lives

We may have been faced with numerous challenges, trials and problems. It doesn’t matter if we have failed to keep the laws of God, completely devastated the Lord Holy Spirit, grieved Him through things we have done in areas of our sexuality and purity, speech and character and faith; if we have disobeyed God and messed up, done all these and more or even worse. There Is HOPE IN JESUS CHRIST! I bring you good news. There’s hope to be restored. There’s hope because Jesus is alive. There’s hope for tomorrow. He is the God of second chance. Even in our sin, He yearns to have us back to His bosom. He died for us even when we were in sin(cf. Romans 5:8). And He wants you back. Yes, you messed up big time, and the evidence is clear, but His love is beyond that. The Lord wants you to come boldly to His throne of Grace so that you will obtain mercy for that which you may have done. Jesus has paid it all for you even though that is not a license to keep sinning(cf. Romans 6:15). And what’s more, He wants you to come because that’s where you will find grace, to help you in your time of need(cf. Hebrews 4:16, ESV). Mercy and grace to help you in your time of need. Oh, you’ll need it because life is filled with ups and downs, and the trials and temptations will come. But there’s grace to practically overcome because we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus(cf. Romans 8:35-37).

I adjure you by the mercies of God, and I stand by the Lord to say this, by the authority of His word, to come to His throne of grace. Come! There’s grace available! Speak to the Lord about your situation. Turn back to the Lord in prayer! Listen, He’s not angry with you. There’s mercy waiting. He is willing to listen to you to help you. Come boldly to the throne of Grace. Come! Come! Don’t hold back. Come to the Lord in prayer. You could just say, “Lord help me. I repent of my ways and ask for your help. Help me, Lord Jesus, to be restored to you. Help me, Lord Jesus!”

You can reach out to me if you need someone to talk to after praying. You can be sure of this; that if you confess your sins, the Lord is faithful and just and will forgive you and purify you(cf. 1 John 1:9). Always remember, we were not forgiven to go back and do the same old thing. The bible describes it as a dog that returns to its vomit(cf. 2 Peter 2:21,22 with reference to Proverbs 26:11, ESV). Jesus is waiting for you to come in prayer. God bless you. Shalom!
