Do you know how it feels when you’re madly craving for something? To make it worse, especially when you don’t seem to find an answer to that craving. Lemme ask it this way; do you feel a deep longing in your innermost being that nothing has been able to satisfy? You may have tried everything that gives you ‘joy’ or ‘pleasure’ but that joy or pleasure fades away after a short while.
Ladies and gentlemen, there is something you should know– if you don’t already know, then, this is it: every human being is spiritually hungry. Now I know some people won’t agree with me but this physical life is controlled by the spiritual. The reason why we’re unable to fill that deep longing in our innermost being is that material things cannot substitute for the spiritual. What I mean is this: you only need the spiritual to fill the spiritual. For instance, you have to use a hammer to drive a nail through a piece of wood; Implying that, the right answer for the right question and the right tool for the right job.
Similarly, ultimate satisfaction comes from God, the Creator of the universe. He is the only one who can fill that deep longing or craving in our lives. But how does He offer this satisfaction to the deep cravings? God’s provision has been made through His Son Jesus Christ so that that vacuum in our lives can be filled. He says in John 6:35 that whoever comes to Him (Jesus Christ) shall never hunger and whoever believes in Him shall never thirst.
Do you want that deep longing filled? Do you want to get satisfied deep within? Then, Jesus Christ is the answer. God has given us eternal life and this life is found in His Son. If you have the Son, you have life. If you don’t have the Son of God, you don’t have life (1 John 5:11,12).
I present to you Jesus Christ, who can save to the uttermost. Invite Him into your life and your life will never be the same again. Just say, “Lord Jesus, I invite you into my life now. I surrender all I am and have, to you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and thank you for accepting me as your child, in Jesus’ name, amen!”
